So - in the span of about a week, we have seen the Obama administration announce a pay freeze for middle-class federal workers, on the one hand, and fight tooth-and-nail for extension of the Bush tax cuts, on the other.
The deal that "liberals" are supposed to be overjoyed about includes tax increases for families making less than $40,000 per year (and individuals making less than $20,000) and a cap on capital gains and dividend taxes at just 15%. Fifteen fucking percent on money that is made doing no productive labor.
The liberalness of this administration is killing me. Can someone make the tired old speech about how different Dems are from Republicans?
